The Shark Halloween Costume has to be a favorite of mine. It’s a great funny choice for kids, dogs, and adults! Yes, I said dogs!! This is a great pet costume, sure to generate more than a few laughs! Let’s take a look…
Adult Shark Costume
I can’t help it, the MAN EATING SHARK COSTUME is one of my favorite in this style! – best if worn by an adult, because you need someone tall to carry it off – your whole body is covered by the “shark” body, and sticking out of the mouth of the shark are a pair of eggs – it looks like the shark swallowed a whole person!! Great choice for someone that is kind of “embarrassed” by getting dressed up for halloween – with this costume on noone will have any idea who you are!!
Shark Dog Costume
What is better than dressing up one animal for halloween as ANOTHER animal for halloween!?? Nothing! These kinds of halloween outfits are easy for the dog to wear because it just velcros under his belly. The head of the shark and the teeth are meant to go over the head of your dog, making it look like your dogs head is coming out of the jaws of the shark!
Toddler Shark Costume
This is a pretty easy halloween outfit to make at home on a do-it-yourself project with just a few simple steps. Just get a blue (or even purple) one-piece jumpsuit for your toddler. It should be a darker overall color. If you don’t have a one-piece jumper, you can have long sleeve shirt and pants instead. One key item is that you will need a hood! Now, use a lighter colored fabric of the same tonal color group and cut out a circle and stitch/tape it to the front of the shirt – similar to the bib. Next, the hood will need to come up and over the toddler’s head. stitch/tape some of the light colored fabric around the edge of the hood and neck (see example below). Last step, add some teeth to the edge of the hood, and some eyes on top of the head!! Use the example below so you get an idea of what the toddler’s costume should look like.
