Costume of Catwomen
The Costume of Catwomen from the movie Batman has always been a popular choice for girl
costumes among women looking for a flashy awesome outfit!
However, most girls will look at the outfit and see a rather complicated assembly of elements that make the entire character for halloween. This is true, the vinyl components of the cat outfit are rather complicated and intricate. To attempt a home made outfit of the catwomen would be a little difficult and if you are looking for a last minute suiting this might not be the best choice for the Halloween party. You might want to check out a character that you would not have to order parts online for.
However, if you have some spare time and are thinking ahead for the holiday’s and for trick or treating this costume could work out very nicely and will quickly draw attention your way!
Catwomen over the years has not changed much, the evolution of her outfit has only become more flashy and revealing more than anything. The costume has always been black and remains to be made of vinyl.
Michelle Pfeiffer returned as Catwomen in the 1992 version of Batman Returns. Her outfit featured very intricate and bold stitching that made her costume an outstanding for her character. She also featured a less flashy and more “covered up” costume than one of her counterparts.
Then in 2004 Halle Berry created the new Catwomen, definitely the most flashy of all, perhaps this was in part due to having the spotlight. The spin off of the comic made an impact of the most flashy of them all and sent a message to fans that Catwomen can show more skin than previously thought.
However, the newest version of the Cat comic character is set to hit the silver screen as one of the most anticipated re-envisionings of Batman makes it to theaters July of 2012. The evolution seems to have come full circle and Catwomen appears to have covered up most of her body in the outfit much as the original did many years ago.
